For the Packers to beat the Falcons last week, they needed to stop a rushing offense that's ranked second in the NFL averaging 180.6 yards per game. I say this because Atlanta is an abysmal 26th in receiving. Stop the Falcon's run game and you pretty much stop the Falcons.

Oh. One other thing. You can't... have 92 yards worth of penalties either.

That brings us to the coming game against the Seahawks. The Packers can win this game. Desite having a very lackluster defensive showing in the last two games. The Green Bay Packers are still 13th in the league in pass defense allowing only 201.8 yards per game. and in second place in interceptions with 9.

However, their run defense leaves something to be desired. The Packers are 27th in the league in run defense allowing teams to average 161.4 yards per game. That's right, I said average. It makes Green Bay Packer fans wonder where Nick Barnett and A.J. Hawk have gone. With run defense stats like that, is it any wonder the Packers are allowing 25.6 points per game?

Aaron and the offense should have some fun against the Seahawks if Seattle puts up the kind of numbers they have so far this season. The Packer offense which is ranked 11th overall and 8th in passing will be taking on a terrible Seattle defense. These guys are ranked 25th in pass defense and 24th in rush defense.

Aaron Rodgers should be able to find any receiver he wants. And in light of the fact that Ryan Grant showed a bit of life averaging 4.6 yards a carry, we should see him start to get into a bit of a rhythm.

Rodgers did throw an interception against the Falcons and hasn't been extremely accurate in the last few games. So, it's nice to know he's not likely to be picked off in the Seattle game. The Seahawks are 28th in interceptions with one whole interception in 5 games.

The Packers can beat the Seahawks and they can beat them big, but they have to find a run defense and clean up the penalties. This is a must win game for Green Bay. In case you've neglected to check the NFC North standings lately, the Vikings have sneaked up to tie the Packers for second place in the division, and they play the Lions next, and we all know what kind of numbers the Lions put up.
